Oil stains
Can pressure cleaning remove oil stains?
Usually not completely. Unless the surface is very well sealed or a closed-pore tile, oil that has soaked into concrete cannot be fully removed, by us or by anyone else, whatever they tell you on the phone.
What we can often do is lift it significantly, sometimes to the point where you stop noticing it. We would rather set that expectation before we start than have you standing in the driveway afterwards feeling short-changed. If a stain is going to survive, we say so when we quote. Do I need to be home?
No, as long as windows and doors are closed and we can get to what needs cleaning.
Do you use my water and power?
We bring our own power, pressure gear and chemical. Water depends on the job: we carry some on the trailer and may need an outside tap, so mention it when you book if yours is hard to reach.
Will it damage my concrete?
Sound concrete handles pressure cleaning fine. Concrete poured in the last few months does not, and neither does natural stone, so we switch methods rather than push on regardless.
What about my plants and furniture?
We take precautions around gardens and can move reasonable amounts of furniture. Happy to clean it while we are there if you do not mind it getting wet.
Can you get into a tight block?
Usually. Camp Hill and the older inner suburbs are full of narrow side setbacks and we work in them constantly. Tight access adds time, which shows in the quote rather than being discovered on the day.
